Using Social Media Sites

Recent years have given us plenty of surprises in terms of application website development. They mainly had the same purpose: to connect people and businesses can find in one end and another Earth. Of course, social networks are a good way to open doors.

Today, social networks are used more by young people. In general, most of the public or rather the users are aged between 14 and 25 years. Therefore, advertisers have neglected advertising on social networking site, mostly because it is audience, audience active.

Time passed, and now most large companies are present in one way or another on networks social. Sites of large companies and American corporations in Fortune (F100 for short) are mostly optimized for social networks. However, promoting a business using social networks has advantages and disadvantages. However, any SME or company can be promoted in this way, and still are some useful tips for a beginner who wants to promote their business using social networks (at least initially).

Begin with your Make an account on Facebook and one on Twitter. Account on Facebook can be a good way to contact other professionals or experts to enable you and your company. In addition, it offers the opportunity to find new business partners in the area. On the other hand, Twitter account will help the public quickly about your company news and updates.

It is very important to interact first with two different categories of users: those who can become your loyal customers and others with whom you enter into fruitful partnerships.   Make sure your business is online, and that means to have a "corporate website" for your company, which is a presentation site, complete with company data, contacts and other important details about the company.

Create a separate space on your company website where visitors will be directed to your profiles on social networks. Do not be limited to Facebook and Twitter. It may be just the beginning. YouTube and LinkedIn, although different, can represent solutions to benefit from free advertising, but also a certain prestige.

How to promote your site through Facebook Ads

In a previous article I talked about how to make a Facebook page in a few easy steps, on a few basic settings and applications. Now assume that you have a homepage. What do you do next?

Article passed as written in the first steps after you have a homepage is to make it known.

1.   Import your customer and subscriber list in the page to notify them about your new presence on Facebook.

2.   Facebook to add the address of the signature of the e-mail contact details of the site, the Guestbook, etc.

3.   Add social plugging offered by Facebook on your site. Now you can start posting on the wall!

What if your business is new, if the site has no visitors to bring in her Facebook page, if you do not have subscriber or customer? Plugging will not help you very much for your time (but still is better to integrate, especially if you plan to promote the site on Google or other media). In this case, the promotion of the Facebook Ads is a great way to attract fans.

About Facebook Ads:
Connect with over one billion people are on Facebook every day. Choose your audience based on location, age and interests. You can promote both the website and Facebook page and an event .Control your daily budget, adjust it whenever you want, choose between two methods of payment, CPC (pay whenever a user clicks on your ad) or CPM (pay per thousand impressions).

Free Advertise your Facebook in four easy steps:
  • 1.       Establish purpose
  • 2.       Sets the target
  • 3.       Free advertising and set your budget
  • 4.       Understand the policies set by Facebook advertising and ad approval process

1. Establish purpose

The first step to successful marketing campaign on Facebook is to define what is important for you as business owner. Want to increase sales, become more known locally, to promote an event, or to receive as many likes?

If you want to make their products, services, company or Facebook page, then your goal might sound like this:
·         I want people to know about the existence of the company or Facebook page
·         I want my brand to be recognized
·         I want to gather as many people interested in my services (leads), because then you manage to sell my products or services

If you want visitors to perform certain actions on the Facebook page or your site, then your goal can be translated in the following way:
·         I want to gather as many like-INS for my Facebook page
·         I want to increase the number of visitors on site or online store
·         I want to give customers a coupon for discounts on Facebook in order to increase sales

Think what you want to do and set your one goal. Depending on the purpose, you build different ads. The most effective campaigns are focused on one goal. If you have several goals, each building a campaign for each.

2. Set the target

You probably already know who your audience is. Otherwise, think. Are you a customer already? Who are they? Are concentrated in a particular geographic area? What kind of activities carried out, how old are they? What drives them to buy your products, you have concerns etc? Try to determine some possible profile for your customers and builds different advertisements depending on them.

Suppose you have a mountain board and have identified three types of customers: families with children, scout groups, youth are on their honeymoon. Each group has different needs and expectations: families are quiet, clean and comfortable, scout group has very high demands on comfort and comes in order to make as many trips and activities in the forest, the honeymoon will come romantic atmosphere.

For the three groups, set three types of advertising:
1.       Family - Come to the pension X in the period March 3 to 8! Now we offer you comfort in a spacious apartment for the price of double room!
2.       Scouts - Come explore the wonderful resort forests X! One gift for each scout binoculars and lunch to pack for the trip today!
3.       Honeymoon - Spend your honeymoon Guest X! Carriage ride through the most beautiful areas of the resort x, romantic dinner in the apartment suite!

3. Free advertising and set budget

Jump to Facebook.com and click Create an Ad. If you are not already logged in, enter your login in the upper right (the data that you used when you created the Facebook page). As I said above, you can promote your site, Facebook page, an event, even an application, etc... Once you have logged in, select the page you want to promote on Facebook. If you want to promote a site should select "External URL". If you have events or current applications, they will appear in the same box you... You can promote any of them.

Check, then the right of Type, Facebook Ads. Destination Tab is the tab you want to "land" when the customer clicks on your ad (wall, info, photos, discussions, events, videos, links, and notes. About all of these I have written in a previous lesson). TITLE is fully automatic for Facebook pages, and will always be the name of the page. Fill in the Body, showing clearly what your ad is: products, services, their benefits, etc ... offer directly address your customer, urging him to action, not write a neutral and do not forget to add an image. You will see the bottom as your ad will show.

After you create ads and select audience, is to set the budget. There are two important things here. The first is to set a daily budget or lifetime. If you set a maximum of $ 30 per day to say their spending is distributed in a day. If the $ 30 ended at midday, when advertising is stopped and restarted the next day. If you set a budget of $ 300 lifetime to say and choose an interval of the campaign 10 days, daily budget would still be $ 30, except that if they spend only 20 one day, the remaining 10 are assigned the number of days remaining.

The second thing I was talking about is the "Pricing". You have two options (Pay for Pay for Clicks and impressions) to choose from. Pay option for Impressions (pay per thousand views) is recommended to increase awareness campaigns site (e.g. I want people to know about the existence of the company or Facebook page); whereas Pay for Click (PPC) is recommend action based campaigns (e.g. I want to give customers a coupon for discounts on Facebook in order to increase sales). What you should know is that you can change these settings at any time during the campaign, and the best way you can find tests.

4. Understand advertising policies set by Facebook and ad approval process

Details of the advertising policies set by Facebook, how to ad approval, you have and what you may not promote, etc., you will to read carefully.
Congratulations! Now you have a Facebook page and promote through Facebook Ads!
